C.F.A. Voysey was one of the most innovative Arts and Crafts architects. He was also a very versatile designer and produced designs for wallpaper and fabrics. This rug is based on a woven double cloth sample he designed for Alexander Morton & Co. at the turn of the 19th century. This rug features an intricate pure silk design on a robust handspun wool ground. It has a fabulous silky sheen that will lighten your room and is soft and cool to the touch.
